Germany Road Trip: Black Forest, Baden‑Baden & Ulm Travel Blogs

Germany had been on our radar for awhile, especially a Germany road trip through the Black Forest, Baden‑Baden, and Ulm. These pages brings together our complete four‑part travel blog series, offering our experiences, scenic routes, and practical Germany travel tips to help you build the perfect Black Forest itinerary. Whether you're interested in charming villages, spa towns, forest drives, or the thrill of the Autobahn, our blog gives you an authentic look at what it’s really like to explore southern Germany by car.

Start your journey in Gengenbach, another fairytale village surrounded by vineyards, cobblestone lanes, and traditional timber‑framed houses. With its peaceful atmosphere and central location, it’s the ideal base for exploring the region and a great introduction to driving in Germany, from winding forest roads to smooth, scenic highways. Gengenbach sets the tone for the entire trip — relaxed, picturesque, and full of classic Black Forest charm. It'll certainly be added to our next European Adventure
