We left Lucerne early, not too sure why as it was only two and a half hours drive, but glad we did as it rained most of the way and it’s the first time we’ve seen trucks on the road too so there was plenty of water about. It was actually refreshing to have a cooler day for a change.

The Canals of Colmar

We dropped off the rental car off and caught a cab into town and on arriving they had the town markets on, so a quick walk through we grabbed some salads and fresh cheese to make our lunch a little later in the day

Not much happened today, just walked the streets of this stunning town and kept out of the rain. After a few beers we booked a French restaurant for tonight.
